Fine print gets a makeover

It won’t be in your store for a while yet, but it marks another step by the company to support best practice handling and application for crop protection products.

And it’s all to do with de-contamination.

“Historically, we’ve always recommended
use of an alkali-based laundry detergent for decontaminating tanks and spray equipment before and after applying our products,” explains marketing manager Glen Surgenor.

“Now, we have updated that to recommend
ing a suitable spray tank cleaner for decontamination, aligning us with industry best practise.

“The old statement has been around for dec
ades, and even though it probably seems like a very minor thing for us to focus on, product stewardship is really important to us.”

The new wording will be progressively rolled
out as Corteva updates labels on existing products, or launches new products. First in line to receive the changes will be Milestone and Korvetto herbicides when new label claims are approved later in the year, Surgenor says.
