Synergy agchem range puts farmer first.

“With the proliferation of alternative brands the selection of the best weed control options can be a confusing proposition for store
staff and farmers,” explains Orion AgriScience’s Murray Hern.

“The reality is that weed control should be simple, particularly in pasture, which is the biggest ‘crop’ in New Zealand and as such plays a critical role in most farm systems.

“There are relatively few core products required but these are sold under dozens of different trade names from a multitude of
supply companies.”

Hern says this complexity created the opportunity for the Synergy range.

“With clean and crisp label designs and product names that clearly identify the main ingredients or use, the choice of the correct
herbicide has been made far easier.”

And the company is now expanding that focus to other segments such as cropping and horticulture, he says.

The secret of the success of the Synergy range lies much deeper than the easily identifiable product naming formula, however.

Perhaps the biggest key has been the ability of Orion AgriScience to source advanced formulations and position the pricing to provide outstanding value to end users.

One good example of this is Synergy Glyphosate 360. The formulation contains a modern surfactant package that provides rainfastness, speed of kill and labels claims that equal any of the leading brands.

When used in combination with the Synergy Penetrant, it is rainfast in 20 minutes.

“The results over five years of product usage have been outstanding.”

The products are backed up by Orion AgriScience’s team of experienced territory managers to help farmers get the best out of
their agrichemicals.
